And then there was Fish!

Ok, so... after reading all the blogs of people I know, I figured its about time I had my own.

First a little history on a little taru named Fishura. I started playing Final Fantasy XI 4 years ago this month (wow has it really been that long) with my friends from school, of which all of them except Alauna has since quit. We had our own ls and played for a while but come June and July they all decided to go off and do other things. A few of them came back now and then and I recently learned Ohnis went to another server to be with new friends he met who play.

When I first started playing, I had a character named Fishushu on my friends account cause I didn't want to buy the game, but in the end they convinced me to get it and I made the same character model and just changed the name to Fishura. While playing on Fishushu I met my first and oldest FFXI friend Fanya. When I got the game for myself I lost touch with her for a while but met up with her again when I was going for Kazham keys in Palborough Mines. We lvl'd together from mid 40's to mid 60's and did damn near everything together. A lot of people commented on how inseperable we were. I also joined my first social ls with other players and miss it to this day, SlayerOfEvil. (actually it was my second but the one I truely thought of as home)

A good friend of mine Kyubigokou from , got me started on endgame when I was a mere lvl55 RDM when I joined Furious. We fought Simurgh, Roc and sometimes Behemoth. Tenbears quit like he often did and I moved on to one of the then premiere HNM linkshells, Unsent. They introduced me to sky where I got my 6 rdm testimonies. They also came in force when I camped charybdis and got me my Joyeuse. Unsent was a lot of fun until we decided to start doing Kings and a very biased lotting system was conceived but I won't go into that. I quit FFXI for 3 months, came back for 2-3 days then quit again for another 3 months.

For the next 5-6 months I went without much of a ls until I joined FuriousX. Tenbears had come back and everyone rallied back to his flag. We were going strong until drama forced Tenbears to quit once again. Then the linkshell became divided and we struggled to keep it going but people just weren't interested in doing anything more then being social. Around this time I had joined a CoP static with Willriker, Slickdarula, Forty, and Kos. We were 5 so we could pick up a 6th if needed and it allowed for flexibility. (can probably read about this on will's blog)

After getting sea, I applied to BBQ with my 1 job at 75 and NIN up and coming. They welcomed me with open arms (actually I heard there was a lot of complaining about having another rdm) and the very first Cerb I went to was the first one that BBQ managed to defeat (all because of me :D)

I wish I had this blog through all that time there would be a lot better detail but I'm starting now and I'll try to keep it up to date. Currently, I do Limbus twice a week with SUAD which I have been thrust into a leader role. Last June I made my first ever linkshell, FishBait, which I currently do Salvage with 5x a week and Assaults twice a week. Starting to get active in BBQ again, doing Einherjar with them, just got T2 access today. ^_^

Anyway, Akanea wants pics but Teffy wants xp and I'm already at camp so the pics will have to wait. Need to mention some people who will kill me if their names aren't here, mainly just Kiana :D I'm going to xp now so I'll post again soon, with pics I promise.
