Been a couple weeks since I last posted. Of late I've been doing a lot of leveling on top of all the Limbus and Salvage that I have been doing regularly. I have gotten all my jobs into the double digits and have all jobs unlocked, not sure how much of an achievement that is since I still only have 2 jobs at 75. To the right is a list of my current job levels. Maybe I'll get all my jobs to the 20 mark sometime soon.I also want to highlight that I have gotten DRG to 60, I have been fighting beastmaster pets in a duo static with Teffy. My friend, who plays Evelyne, just started FFXI and I have been leveling some of my lower level jobs with her. This is a picture of Teffy and I when we were fighting in Newton Movalpolos.
Since my last post, I have gone with BBQ to Tiamat where I logged Enriquez on and provided Treasure Hunter for the kill and pulled adds away. I also helped my friend Tuufless with Bomb Queen fight. A majority of the players who were doing Bomb Queen were Japanese and I couldn't understand much of what was going on, but I've done the fight before so I had an idea what to expect. A SAM/THF kept TA'ing me throughout each fight so I did a lot of the tanking when the PLD couldn't keep up with hate. Here is a picture from between two of the fights.
I also started doing some ENMs with Fanya and Keebu. When we were doing Bearclaw Pinnacle, Fanya ran ahead and got through the ice falls but the weather changed before Keebu and I got there. While we were waiting, Fanya started pulling bombs to kill for something to do. She was fighting them pretty well until one of them decided to blow up. Ironically, Keebu made a comment about Fanya going to try to kill him and then I said she couldn't because of the ice wall between us, and apparently that wall of ice wasn't enough because when the bomb exploded it killed all three of us. None of us had reraise up so I ran Enri all the way up the mountain to raise as seen below.
After winning the fight and receiving no reward for our efforts other then xp, I commented on how the view before you leave is my favorite place in the entire game to Akanea and he said he'd never seen it before, so here is a small view of it but this doesn't do it justice. If you've never been there you should go.
Recently, the Adventurer Appreciation event has returned and they keep track of various random statistics about your character such as the number of times you've died, monsters you've killed, and how many times you've typed something in the chat. I guess I talk a lot because my chat frequency is fairly high compared to a lot of the people I've talked to about it. Most people have around 500,000-750,000 chat frequency while mine is over 1,171,000. Two of the other members in BBQ have much higher chat frequency then I do though. Here is me getting to 1,171,000 for my chat frequency.
Finally, I am going to comment on one of my recent Salvage runs. Of late we have been doing Silver Sea Remnants a lot due to needing Bodb's Cuffs and Tsukikazu Sune-Ate to complete pieces. All the drops we have been getting have been everything other then those two. Wednesday, May 14th we decided to enter Salvage even though there was a maintenance that was going to occur shortly after the 100 minutes was supposed to be up. Our entry was delayed slightly but only enough that a few seconds would be trimmed off the end if the maintenance started on time, which they never do. We took longer in getting to LAC then we normally do but had just enough time to kill it. It died with 30s left before the run was over, Tsukikazu Sune-Ate finally dropped, and before the last person could lot... Hell froze over. SE started a maintenance on time, just after the timer said 10 seconds remaining, everything froze and we were forced out. It's not something I really wanted to look at again so there is no picture of it.
If someone knows of a better way to insert pictures so they don't all get inserted at the top that would be rather helpful. With that I'll take my leave.
